Safety is everyone’s business!
We officially launched our Safety week 2018 activities yesterday during a ceremony at the international departure lounge of the airport. This was in the presence of the Principal Secretary for Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, the Chairman of the SCAA Board, the CEO of SCAA, CEO of Air Seychelles, members of SCAA executive team and many other aviation partners.
In a special address to the guests by the Chairman of SCAA board, Captain David Savy, he emphasized the importance of training in safety to ensure that safety as a whole is better managed. Safety Management Systems Manager, Mr. Kisnan Tamatave delivered a short presentation on the newly acquired Centrik software, which is to greatly improve the management of data with regards to safety. The presentation led the highlight of the ceremony which was the launch of this software by our Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Wilfred Fock Tave, who is also our Safety Accountable executive.
